Going back to a year ago, in 2020, when the world seemed distraught with the onset of the pandemic, the need to create an “engaging something” rose. What better than a game that’s being played for decades and centuries by members of all generations, and moreover, an activity that preserves and portrays India’s rich culture, mythology, and art? This idea and the motive behind it proved to be the start of a bigger cause that exists as more than just a game, rather, a source that reduces screen time, improves productivity and concentration, distracts the mind from anxious thoughts, and builds patience. That’s how our journey to creating puzzles, that we think you will love, began!

In keeping the long-venerated tradition, art, and culture of India alive, Puzzle Hee Puzzle established limited-edition, museum-quality, first-of-its-kind jigsaw puzzles that rightfully represent Indian mythology, art, and its rich and vibrant heritage and create awareness among the youth. Our puzzles are rare, unique, and brainy in a world of mass production. And, as a tribute to our shared love for puzzles, we collaborated with the LA-based artist, Renu Vahali, who beautifully fashioned our first statement puzzle that remains one-of-a-kind and a masterpiece. Immodestly, jigsaw puzzles cannot get finer than this! And in the days to come, we plan to collaborate with local Indian artists so that their work gets the recognition they truly deserve, while promoting regional art.

About The Founders

Ekta Pujji

Not called “Ms. Puzzle Queen” by chance, her passion for the puzzling profession is pleasingly inspiring! Puzzle Hee Puzzle was brought to life in 2020 with a desire to bring exciting yet tricky puzzles with a whimsical, loving, and nostalgic feel to jigsaw puzzle lovers and novices. Pujji, a former UAE-based banker, with the single-most aim to retain the Indian’ness to an old-age game and help people seeking diversions from their daily troubles or likewise, issues of anxiety and depression, took the leap of faith and set out on her journey to becoming an entrepreneur – a puzzle brand founder! The idea, according to Pujji, was to make a puzzle that’s maddeningly and beautifully difficult but possible to do, even for the new jigsaw players.

Since the market was out there, Pujji, with the due support of her spouse and an entrepreneur mother, gave birth to Puzzle Hee Puzzle, and in no time, watched the orders pour in. Right from that time on, there’s never been a dull moment for her. Pujji’s puzzle collection makes it clear that most pieces of Puzzle Hee Puzzle are high-quality aesthetics featuring an actual revival of an earlier tradition by highlighting the quintessential colors and people of India. Pujji believes that this innovation will leave gamers confused and curious – but at the end of the game, they will be joyous customers!

A widely regarded entrepreneur in the ecosystem of women leaders, Batra, also fondly called “Jyotan”, is an avid puzzler, which resulted in the formation of Puzzle Hee Puzzle along with her daughter-cum-co-founder, Ekta Pujji. As a strong advocate of women empowerment, Batra, through all her initiatives and establishments ensures women are helped, guided, trained, driven, and shown the side of success. By means of her jigsaw puzzle brand, too, Batra’s aim since the commencement has been to facilitate, as well as encourage, women to step ahead and assist in all the areas of business; from design to production, packing to logistics. For her, it’s not just about creating employment opportunities but also helping others develop life skills, feel belonged, and enhance self-respect.
