The Ramayana, authored by the sage Valmiki, is one of India's most revered epics. It narrates the life of Prince Rama, the embodiment of dharma and the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. Post-rescue, the couple returns to Ayodhya, and their homecoming is celebrated as Diwali, the festival of lights. Rama's reign, known as Rama Rajya, symbolizes a time of perfect justice and moral righteousness.
However, the Ramayana also chronicles complexities and moral dilemmas, making it a timeless tale of duty, honor, and love.
